Our data shows that across all states in US, a significant amount of people are affected by these disease. Studies have found that heart disease can develop into chronic diseases.

Relationship between health insurance and socioeconomic factors

Our analysis highlights negative correlation between low median income and uninsured rate as well as positive correlation between unemployment rate and uninsured rate. This suggests that people with lower income and unemployment have higher chance of not having an insurance, limiting their medical access.

Relationship between health insurance and each disease

Limited medical access resulted in higher case counts for each disease. Many of top 5 states / counties with highest disease counts are also top 5 states / counties with highest uninsured rates.
